ERKS
ERKS was written and drawn for David Lloyd's Aces Weekly which I am right proud to be a part of. First proper attempt at writing and painting a comic, alright it's only 18 pages but it was trial by fire. You'll have to subscribe to Aces Weekly to read it but here's a few pages of art...
Calculus Cat for Hunt
I squeaked when Hunt Emerson asked me to do a version of Calculus Cat. It was for his gallery in a Kick Starter funded super de-luxe edition of Calculus Cat comics with new material as the original was out of print. It should be arriving soon, can't wait.
Made perfect sense to me to have Calculus as the nose art on a heavy bomber...
Duel in the Sky
Long time no post. Here's some recent black and white painted work - some WW1 illustrations from a book called Duel in the Sky.

N.I.C.E Con 2013 Review
Had a great time at the N.I.C.E. last week, meet plenty of interesting friendly people, did plenty of sketching and had one or two drinks. I faffed around with some painted sketches, some worked. I love that there was no large corporate presence and that it was so laid back. It was my first time at this con and will definitely be returning next year. I can't recommend it enough.

Reincar(Nate) finished...
It's taken a while and it kept getting nudged back to make way for other work but I'm pleased to say we've finished it. Here are the 3 most recent covers I painted. Nate was the main character on the first cover so I brought Alan forward on the second issue seeing as it involved his back story and the same for Jameson on the third, that did mean I locked myself into the colours and theme for the first 3 issues. I was free from on all that on the fourth cover and had the general idea bouncing around for a while. It opened up different ideas but too late as that was the last cover, hopefully it won't be the end of Nate as we all love working on it.
Michael's pleased with it so that's me happy with it.
